Introducing our Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course – the gold standard for those who lead, instruct, and inspire in the great outdoors. As an adventurer, guide, or outdoor educator, you know that every trip into nature can be unpredictable. Be prepared to face any challenge with confidence.
As the industry standard for outdoor professionals, this comprehensive 16-part course transforms you into a confident first responder capable of managing medical emergencies when they're least expected—miles from help. You'll learn to assess and treat patients in remote locations under adverse conditions where every second counts.
Our expert instructors will guide you through real-world scenarios, teaching you how to make crucial decisions with limited resources. From weather complications to communication barriers, you'll master the art of improvising with whatever is at hand and coordinating care until definitive medical treatment is available.
